THREAD HANDLING AREA GUIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify construction of a thread handling area guide by providing a large diameter slope and a small diameter slope on a pulley part with a groove putting the groove between, and letting a thread slip-out preventing guide provided on the small diameter slope side face to the large diameter slope side. SOLUTION: A pulley 1 with groove is rotatably fitted to a base shaft 2 through a bearing 3. A large diameter slope side 5 and a small diameter slope side 6 are provided thereon putting the groove between. The small diameter slope side 6 is provided with a thread slip-out preventing guide 7, and the extreme end part is let face to the large diameter slope side 5. By the use of this thread handling area guide, a thread is easily laid thereon, it can be hardly slipped out of the pulley even if the laid thread is loosened, and hence the guide 7 is sufficient for preventing slip-out of the thread. Hereby, the number of parts can be reduced and the construction can be simplified.
