CAR AUDIO PANEL ATTACHING/DETACHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car audio panel attaching/detaching device by which a panel placed in front of a car audio main part can be attached and detached easily in order to protect a car audio from a theft. SOLUTION: 1st and 2nd elastic fixing members are formed on the front part of an escutcheon 200 in which the front panel 100 of a car audio at the symmetrical positions of the longitudinal axis of the escutcheon. The respective elastic members have 1st and 2nd spring members 214 and 234 protruding from the escutcheon. 1st and 2nd fixing rods 212 and 232 which are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and are in parallel with each other are formed on the top end parts of the respective spring members. 1st and 2nd retaining channels 110 and 130 are formed in the side surfaces of the front panel at positions corresponding to the 1st and 2nd fixing rods 212 and 232. Only by the operation of pushing the front panel into the escutcheon, the 1st and 2nd spring members 214 and 234 are fixed into the 1st and 2nd retaining channels of the front panel 100 by respective elastic restoration forces toward each other and the front panel 100 can be attached to the escutcheon 200.
