Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain dyed fiber that is excellent in washing fastness and sun light fastness and useful as sheets for hospitals by dyeing the fibers coated with colloidal metal compound on their surfaces with a dye having a metal- chelating structure. SOLUTION: The fiber coated with colloidal metal compound [for example, CuCl2 .3Cu(OH)2 ] is dyed with a dye having a metal-chelating structure. This dyeing process can be applied to any fiber even at ambient temperature under normal pressure independently from the dyeing conditions intrinsic to the properties of individual fibers.
