Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbon yarn to be applied to an instrument side, to be laid between instruments and to be stuck to the surface of a material reflecting electromagnetic wave since the carbon yarn absorbs electromagnetic wave generated from electric instruments and electronic instruments and eliminates electromagnetic interference. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave absorbing yarn is obtained by sacrificing mechanical strength and rigidity and stopping a baking process in a stage not to advance graphitization. The electrical resistance value of graphite yarn has a low value of 1.9×10 Ω.cm. Even electromagnetic wave having a minute electric current value requires a high resistance value with respect to impedance matching so as to absorb the electromagnetic wave as energy. As the result of various adjustments of the baking process, finally a carbon yarn having 1.8Ω.cm, a resistance value of 1,000 times as much as that of ordinary carbon yarn (graphite yarn) is obtained. |
