Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive label for thermal recording which exhibits little decrease in color developing ability when it is stored for a long time. SOLUTION: In a pressure-sensitive adhesive label for thermal recording wherein on one face side of a substrate, a thermal recording layer and a protective layer as required is successively provided and on the underside, a release paper is sticked through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a barrier layer contg. a water-soluble alkali salt of a copolymer with an acid value of 40-80 wherein styrene and an ethylenic unsatd. carboxylic acid are main ingredients as monomers is provided at least between the substrate and the pressure- sensitive adhesive layer or between the substrate and the thermal recording layer.
