MAGNETIC HEAD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head and its manufacturing method that can record signals with the same frequency, the same phase, and the same recording level by means of multi-channel magnetic gap. SOLUTION: A front core 1 is built up by connecting a block material 4A and a block material 4B, and gap forming parts 4A1 and 4B1 are formed on each block material 4A and 4B, and junctions of the gap forming parts form magnetic gaps G. And other parts than the gap forming parts are fitted with non-magnetic material 6. Since all magnetic gaps G are formed with the junction of the block material 4A and 4B, each magnetic gap G can be positioned on a same line, and each gap depth can be matched to each other. Moreover, a magnetic field is induced to each magnetic gap from a same coil 8. Therefore, recording with the same frequency, the same phase, and the same recording level is possible.
