Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image fixing device capable of obtaining an excellent image, without a fear that a failure in peeling a recording sheet occurs, while making a device smaller in size. SOLUTION: This image fixing device is provided with a heating part 10 having a rotatable fixing roll 11 and a pressure part 20 having a heat-resistant endless belt 21 and an elastic member 23. This elastic member 23 is disposed inside the endless belt 21, to press it on the fixing roll 11, so that a nipping part is formed between the fixing roll 11 and the endless belt 21 and its traveling is made possible. Further, an oil supplying part 30 is provided inside the belt 21 and oil for preventing an offset is supplied to the surface of the fixing roll 11 from an oil impregnating member 32, through the belt 21. A part of the oil supplied to the belt 21 from the oil supplying part 30 works for reducing the sliding resistance of the belt 21 and the elastic member 23.
