Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a burden to the support part of the filter unit of a large capacity trap, average unevenness of a velocity of flow of exhaust gas penetrating through an annular exhaust gas passage at the outermost periphery of each filter unit to the outer periphery of a filter, and improve the scavenging efficiency of particulate. SOLUTION: Three filter units 3 made of a metal are arranged as a trap in a cylinder case 2, connected to the exhaust pipe of a diesel engine, at an equal distance from the center of a cylinder case 2. A metallic disc 6 present concentrically to the cylinder case 2 is arranged in front of the filter unit 3 in the exhaust gas inflow side at a distance L of 1/6-1/2 of the diameter of the cylinder case 2.
