Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity of a connection part of rods and prevent positional dislocation of a formed hole to the utmost so as to attain accurate construction. SOLUTION: In this rod connecting structure, rods 2 inserted into the ground to form a hole in the ground are connected lengthwise. In this case, the end part of one rod 2 out of the upper and lower rods is provided with a fit-in square cylindrical part 3, and the end part of the other rod 2 is provided with a fit-in square hole part 4. The fitin square cylindrical part 3 is fitted into the fit-in square hole part 4 and connected by slip-off preventive means 5. A rigid reinforcing material 6 is removably provided at the outer surface part of a fit-in part between the fit-in square cylindrical part 3 and fit-in square hole part 4 of the upper and lower rods 2, over the upper and lower rods 2.
