Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant for colorant transfer thermal transfer recording, which can be easily used in the preparation of an ink, has good heat response and can give a highly dense clear recording at low energy by using an anthraquinone compound as the cyan colorant. SOLUTION: An anthraquinone compound represented by the formula (wherein r is isobutyl or 1-methylbutyl; and a is a phenyl which may be substituted with a lower alkyl or the like) and being a cyan colorant compound is used. This compound can be synthesized by reacting 1-chloroanthraquinone with isobutylamine or 2-aminopentane in an inert solvent, reacting the obtained aminoanthraquinone with bromine to form 1-isobutylamino-4-bromoanthraquinone or 1-(1'-methylbutyl)amino-4-bromoanthraquinone and reacting each with an aniline and a deoxygenating agent in the presence of a copper catalyst. |
