Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polycondensation polymer economically at good efficiency. SOLUTION: The product of transesterification is continuously fed into a heated vessel 1, and an inert gas having a temperature of at least 200 deg.C is continuously fed into the liquid phase of the product through the bottom of the vessel and passed continuously to the top of the vessel. The gas is continuously passed through a compressor 7 to an absorber 8. The compressed inert gas is continuously passed to a heater 9 and recirculated into the bottom of the vessel, while a polymer is withdrawn from the exit of the vessel.
