PRINTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold an attitude of a recording head to a recording medium regardless of an inclination of a printing apparatus itself and enable a stable printing operation. SOLUTION: A head unit 14 is connected to a main body housing 1a via a holder 19. A pair of link mechanism 21, 24 are set at side face parts between the main body housing 1a and holder 19 and between the holder 19 and head unit 14. Arms 21b, 21b of the link mechanism 21 are arranged in a scan direction, and arms 24a, 24b of the link mechanism 24 are arranged in a direction at right angles to the scan direction. In the constitution, the main body housing 1a can oscillate in a printing direction (X direction) and a direction orthogonal to the printing direction (Y direction). Even when the main body housing 1a is inclined, printing can be conducted without changing an attitude of the head unit 14 to a recording medium.
