Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of a pipe having receiving port by a method wherein the end part of a thermoplastic resin pipe which is heated and softened, is approx. uniformly cooled by spraying or spreading cooling water from two or more places around the end part of the thermoplastic resin pipe which is heated and softened. SOLUTION: A water spreading device 2 is provided on the top of a receiving port 5 of a thermoplastic resin pipe, and water drops 22 are made to fall on the end part 5 of the thermoplastic resin pipe from a nozzle 21 of the water spreading device 2, and the end part 5 of the thermoplastic resin pipe is cooled. A spraying device 3 is provided at two locations diagonally under the end part 5 of the thermoplastic resin pipe, and water of a cooling water tank 4 is fed by a pump 33, and the cooling water is atomized 32 and jetted to the end part of the thermoplastic resin pipe from a nozzle 31. The cooling water tank 4 is provided under the water spreading device 2 and the spraying device 3, and receives the cooling water which has fallen from the water spreading device 2 or the atomized 32 cooling water which has been jetted from the spraying device 3, and a water draining pipe 41 is provided at an upper limit water level location on the side wall of the cooling water tank 4.
