METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRESSING GRINDING WHEEL FOR CENTERLESS GRINDING MACHINE AND CENTERLESS GRINDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique wherein a grinding wheel for centerless grinding constituted by a resin bond super abrasive grinding stone is left ass mounted in a centerless grinding machine to perform dressing. SOLUTION: As shown in a Fig. (A), a rotary truer 6 is mounted in a truing and dressing unit 5, by one way traverse method like an arrow mark a, b, c, d, truing is performed in an up cut direction, as in a Fig. (B), the tool is replaced with a rotary dresser 7 of grain size equal to or finer than a grinding wheel. As in a Fig. (C), by a reciprocating traverse method like an arrow mark a, e, dressing is performed in a down cut direction. Only by the rotary dresser 7 of grain size, good dressing can be performed.
