Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser joining device for running metal plates for detecting an abutted part between metal plates in running and irradiating a laser beam on the detected line in continuous hot rolling equipment for steel or the like. SOLUTION: This device consists of a metal plate clamping mechanism provided on a truck which is run at the same speed as the abutted part 3, abutted part detecting mechanism, laser beam irradiating mechanism for irradiating a laser beam to the abutted part 3 and laser generator for the irradiating mechanism. The laser beam irradiating mechanism has a moving optical system for irradiating the laser beam 4 synchronizing after the detected result with the abutted part detecting mechanism and the moving optical system is composed of an axis parallel moving system. In this way, in the continuous hot rolling equipment, the operability of a finishing mill train is stabilized and the yield of rolled products is improved. |
