Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten a single toilet seat device to various types of Western style toilets by providing a body having tightening holes secured to through-holes drilled as a pair through a Western style toilet, regardless of a distance between the through-holes. SOLUTION: The upper end of a floating plate 24 and the upper end of a standing plate 10 are both bent back to form projection pieces 26 and 28. Through-holes 27 and 29 are formed on the two projection pieces 26 and 28, and small nuts having threads inverse to each other are bonded to the two through-holes 27 and 29. Also, a single adjusting screw 30 is passed through the two through-holes 27 and 29, and screwed to the small nuts, at an attitude with the head directed up and the end directed downward. In this case, when the adjusting screw 30 is rotated in the preset unilateral direction, a gap between the two projection pieces 26 and 28 is reduced, and the floating plate 24 becomes afloat upward from a bottom plate 8. This floating distance is adjustable with the rotation amount of the adjusting screw 30. |
