Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the monitoring method which can improve the use efficiency of a communication network. SOLUTION: Parameters which are possibly monitored include measured values of the quality of service, discard of a cell, and other network performance. This monitoring method includes a process (221) for specifying a communication connection passing through network elements, processes (224, 226) for collecting data signals including data on operation parameters of network elements (223, 225) and then processing the collected signals, and a, process (227) for displaying data regarding a specified network element. This method makes it possible to trace a connection passing through node devices and link devices.
