WORD CORRECTOR, WORD CORRECTING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PROGRAM FOR WORD CORRECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prepare correction candidates to an erroneous word, by providing a 1st table for storing the correspondence of words before and after correction and a 2nd table for storing the change of states before and after the correction. SOLUTION: A non-corrected word acquiring means 7 acquires a word before correction. When that word is included in a corrected/non-corrected word pair appearance frequency table 4, a correction candidate predicting means 9 writes a correspondent corrected word into a correction candidate predictive table 10 as the correction candidate and calculates priority based on the appearance frequency of that pair. When that word is not included, the difference described on a difference appearance frequency table 5 is applied to the non-corrected word, the candidate of corrected word is generated and when the generated candidate exists in a proper word dictionary 8, the corrected word is written into the correction candidate predictive table 10 as the correction candidate. Since the word is corrected by storing the change of states before and after correction in addition to the correspondence of words before and after the correction, efficiency in correction candidate preparation is improved.
