TONER CARTRIDGE PROVIDED WITH HEAT SHIELDING SHUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge having a heat shield radiating heat in a cleaner chamber. SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 1 is provided with a single molded element obtained by molding polystyrene and is photosensitive. The molded element is constituted of the cleaner chamber to which a photoreceptor drum is fitted and handles 3a and 3b in front. A toner hopper is normally arranged under the handles 3a and 3b. A developing roller receives toner from the hopper so as to coat the photoreceptor drum with it. A lower shutter 7 made of heat resistant polycarbonate is fitted to driving links 13a and 13b. When the cartridge is fitted in a printer, the driving links are moved so as to rotate the shutter to a position where the lower surface of the cleaner chamber is covered. Then, the shutter effectively functions so as to shield and protect a cleaner from the heat retained in the printer.
