PARTIAL DISCHARGE OF COLOR FROM DYED DEWED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for partially discharging the color of a dyed sewed product, enabling to simply form a characteristic pattern on the dyed sew product such as a jeans, e.g. its jacket, pants or trousers. SOLUTION: The color-discharging site of a dyed sewed product relatively low in color fastness, such as a dyed sewed denim product, a pigment-dyed sewed product or a direct dyestuff-dyed sewed product, is placed on a hard mold having a characteristic shape or projection, and the upper surface of the placed site is subsequently brushed with a nylon scrubbing brush, etc., under a wet condition. The brushing treatment under the wet condition is preferably carried out with an abrasive-containing synthetic resin sponge or a Trachycarpus Fortunei brush in the presence of a detergent solution under the wet condition.
