Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembling operation by making it easy to bring an optical fiber cord and a ferrule into contact with each other and to make the structure small-sized by simplifying the structure by crimping 1st and 2nd crimped parts together with a crimping ring arranged outside the ferrule. SOLUTION: The ferrule 10 has an optical fiber crimp fixation part 15 for crimping and fixing an optical fiber 9 and a tensile-strength fiber crimp part 14 for crimping and fixing tensile-strength fiber (Kevler (R)) at positions more on the rear end side than a flange. The optical fiber crimp fixation part 15 is formed of soft metal on a cylinder built in the hollow of the ferrule 10 and the tensile-strength fiber crimp part 14 is formed of the outer peripheral surface of the ferrule 10 positioned outside the optical fiber crimp fixation part 15. Namely, the optical fiber crimp fixation part 15 and tensile-strength fiber crimp part 14 are provided in the same crimping direction crossing the axis of the ferrule 10 and can be crimped with the crimping ring 16. |
