METHOD OF STOPPING OPERATION OF ABSORPTION TYPE REFRIGERATING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a fast rising for re-energization of a refrigerating machine after its stop of operation. SOLUTION: A method of stopping operation of an absorption type refrigerating machine is carried out such that when an instruction for stopping an operation of the refrigerating machine is inputted, a pressure reducing valve 11 is opened, a pump P2 continue its operation, absorbing agent solution in an absorber 2 is transferred to a regenerator 3 and then refrigerant in a condenser 9 is transferred to an evaporator 1. In addition, a control section 19 monitors level sensors L2 and L9 after inputting an instruction for stopping operation. If it is judges that a transmission of solution and refrigerant is completed, the pump P2 is stopped and the pressure reducing valve 11 is closed to terminate operation of the refrigerating machine. With such an arrangement as above, during stopped state in operation, solution maintaining a concentrating same as the concentration before operation stop is stored in the regenerator 3 and the refrigerant is assured in the evaporator 1, so that a steady state operation can be started at once when the operation is started.
