WIRE SECTION FOR FORMING MULTILAYER FIBER WEB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality multilayer fiber web at a high speed. SOLUTION: A twin wire part of a wire section contains a first wire 22 and a second wire 24 and a second fiber layer is formed between them. The second wire 24 is separated from the first wire 22 and the first wire 22 supporting the second fiber layer is joined into a first belt supporting the first fiber layer in a couch roll 42 of a laminating section to form a multilayer fiber web. The twin wire part 20 is disposed on the upper stream side of the laminating section in the traveling direction of the belt. The second fiber layer travels on the first wire 22 so as to advance into laminating section at an angle smaller than 90 degree to the belt 12 advancing to the laminating section.
