Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sensitivity of an oxidizing agent to mechanical energy, to solve the problems of handling at high temp. and ignitability and to reduce the danger of explosion, etc., so that the oxidizing agent can be safely and easily handled by coating the oxidizing agent with particles of an inorg. material. SOLUTION: An oxidizing agent such as powdery or granular potassium chlorate having 0.01-5mm diameter is wet-mixed with an inorg. material such as talc or potassium silicate in the form of fine particles having 0.5-50μm particle diameter and a binder such as hydroxypropylmethylcellulose or hyciroxymethylcellulose in a weight ratio of 1:(0.01-5):(0.01-0.1). A proper amt. of an aq. solvent is added to the resultant mixture and they are kneaded for 5-30min with a mortar and dried to obtain the objective coated oxidizing agent capable of reducing the danger of ignition and explosion even when it is mixed with fuel used for an insecticicial or sterilizing smoking agent, fireworks, a gas generating agent for the air bag of an automobile, etc. |
