Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent contraction of a sidewall range of a pneumatic tire for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This apparatus manufacture a pneumatic tire for a vehicle by a mass production of a basic blank on a cylindrical carcass assembling drum 1. The drum 1 has a protrusion or recess extended substantially parallel to a fiber strength member 5 of carcass insert 4 in an overlapping range of the insert 4. Thus, in the case of mounting the insert 4, an excess length of the fiber member occurs in the overlapping range. This excess length compensates for contraction generally generated in the range when the air is supplied to a completed tire.
