Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a golf club head made of titanium which is excellent in the mechanical characteristics such as strength, durabiluty, etc., and emits a light touch metallic striking sound not biased in the treble range while the reverberation of the ball striking sound in the frequency band 6-8kHz remains high. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a golf club head made of titanium, an α+β type titanium alloy is subjected to a processing at a temp. in the range from more than the β-transformation temp. minus 100 deg.C to less than 1100 deg.C, and the substance undergoes heat treatment in the temp. range from more than β-transformation temp. minus 100 deg.C to less than 1100 deg.C and another heat treatment in the temp. range between more than 450 deg.C and less than 600 deg.C is used at last in the face part 1, and thereby the reverberation of a ball striking sound in the frequency band 6-8kHz is heightened.
