COATING MIXTURE FOR MEDICAL OPERATION TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a surgeon to easily handle a medical operation tool at the time of using by bringing the medical operation tool into contact with coating mixture thereby obtaining a wet and coated medical operation tool and drying this wet and coated medical operation tool thereby substantially removing a solvent. SOLUTION: A thread (medical operation tool) sinks into a coating mixture 25 as it passes through a guiding roller 32 from a guiding roller 30 to be coated with the coating mixture 25 to prepare a wet thread 5. This wet thread 5 has its direction turned by the roller 32 and then turned to an acute direction in order to generate centrifugal force which is large enough to remove the surplus coating mixture carried by the thread 5. After moving out a coating head, the thread 5 comes to a drying tunnel keeping a temperature within the range of about 45 deg.C to about 55 deg.C to dry the coating material on the coated thread to substantially remove the solvent.
