Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition comprising a rubber, furnace black and a specific compound and enabling the production of a rubber product having both a high tensile strength and an improved compression permanent set in a conventional rubber-processing process. SOLUTION: This modified rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt of at least one kind of rubber selected from natural rubber and synthetic rubbers, (B) 15-150 pts.wt. of furnace black and (C) 0.05-6.0 pts.wt. of a compound of the formula [R1 -R3 are each H, methyl; (n) is >=3]. The component B is preferably polyethylene glycol having a mol.wt. of >=150, or glycerol. The components are compounded e.g. by a method using a closed kneading machine, etc.
