HAIR RESTORING AGENT COMPOSITION AND HAIR COSMETIC AND HAIR STRENGTENING AGENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare the subject composition capable of changing a hair structure, restoring and strengthening damaged hair and suppressing the fuzzing or peeling of cuticle or broken hair, etc., by including a cationized protein derivative and a neutral amino acid therein. SOLUTION: This hair restoring agent composition is prepared by reacting an animal protein derived polypeptide and a vegetable protein-derived polypeptide with a cationizing agent (e.g. hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride), providing (A) a cationized protein derivative and formulating the ingredient A with (B) a neutral amino acid (e.g. glycine) at 0.005-50 weight ratio of the ingredients A/B. A cationic surfactant and a higher alcohol, etc., are formulated with the resultant composition to afford a hair cosmetic. A film-forming polymer such as an amphoteric polymer, a nonionic polymer or a cationic polymer is formulated with the above composition to provide a hair strengthening agent.
