DEVICE AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY FITTING TAG TO METAL BAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for an automatically fitting a tag to one piece of metal bars in one lot comprising a plurality of metal bars. SOLUTION: By comparing the location data by a distance gauge 5, of metal bars which are carried on a carrying line 3, and the lot information by a control device 7, a metal bar 1 which is a tag fitting object in one lot, is specified, and the metal bar is stopped at a specified location by the instruction of the control device 7 which receives a signal of a metal bar detecting sensor 6, and the applicable metal bar 1 is extracted by a tag-attached wire fitting device 4 which is controlled by the control device 7, and after the tag is fitted by winding the wire part of a tag-attached wire around the metal bar, the metal bar with the tag is returned to the carrying line, and the carrying line is started.
