PACKAGING APPARATUS FOR FARM PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the removal of plant fluid from cut faces of farm products, which removal is carried out before packaging the farm product in a state of reduced working burden on a worker. SOLUTION: Placed is a wiping apparatus 25 for removing plant fluid from cut faces in a state where the cut faces of a pair of farm products come upside. The wiping apparatus 25 is composed of absorbing materials 29 placed on a pair of swinging members 27 which are supported by a supporting frame 26 in a vertically independently swingable state around the first horizontal axis X and placing a swing driving mechanism 30 at their basal end sides. The swinging driving mechanism 30 is composed of a touching member 31 which receives both the extending ends of the swinging members 27 at the basal sides in a state where both the extending ends touch the touching member 31 from the opposite sides to each other and a rotating mechanism 33 which rotates the touching member 31 around the second horizontal axis Y parallel to the first horizontal axis X.
