SOLUTION: In a power amplifier having a power amplifying part 2 for amplifying an input signal and outputting it to a speaker 4, an output state detecting part 5 for detecting the output state of the power amplifying part 2, an LED element 7 for displaying this output state, the protection circuit 8, and an LED element 10 for displaying the operating state of the protection circuit 8, the operating state of the protection circuit 8 is displayed by the LED element 10 by a control circuit 9 when the protection circuit 8 is operated, and at the same time, the operation of the driving circuit 6 of the LED element 7 for displaying the output state of the power amplifying part 2 is invalidated and the LED element 7 is controlled to be stopped. |
