INFORMATION PERUSING SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user utilizing a client to access multi-media data without losing information by converting data which can not be processed by the client into data to be processed by the client when the unprocessable data are included in multi-media data to be loaded down and then loading down the converted data. SOLUTION: When user input information is acquired by an input means 2 in an information display device 1, an information display control means 3 analyzes whether the user input information is related to the picture control of the device 1 or a hyper-text information down-loading request. When the user input information is related to the hyper-text information down-loading request, a data conversion instructing means 4 acquires data conversion information from a data conversion correspondence table 12, adds the data conversion information to the down-loading request and instructs a hyper-text acquiring means 5 to transmit the request.
