HANDLING DEVICE FOR PILE OF SHEETS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile handling device which can hold the overhung end part of an auxiliary pile table on a support even in case the auxiliary pile table involves a shape error to cause impairing of the performed level adjustment of the pile table and support. SOLUTION: An auxiliary pipe table 13 equipped with an overhung end part 13' is provided to handle a pile 9 consisting of sheet paper 1 in a non-stop operation of a rotary press for processing sheet paper 1. The auxiliary pile table 13 is held on a support 18 in the working position to capture the under- part of sheet 1. To support the overhung end part 13' always certainly, the support 18 is adjustable between two positions, i.e., the functioning position having sunk below the working level and another functioning position to support the overhung end part 13' over the working level.
