AIR-BLOW MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR FIBROUS PACKING, AND DEVICE THEREFOR AND FIBROUS PACKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-blow manufacturing method for a fibrous packing, in which a step of attaching a bag-like side fabric to a staple blow-off port is automated, and a device therefor, and to provide a fibdous packing formed by using the method and the device. SOLUTION: A slit opening 12a of a bag-like side fabric 12 located at the uppermost part of a storage unit 16 in which several bag-like side fabrics 12 stacked one upon another, is sucked at its upper surface to a suction nozzle 36, and is pulled up so as to open the slit opening 12a into which a pair of enlarging members 42, 48 are inserted so as to enlarge the opening of the members 42 in order to grip the inside of the slit opening 12a. Then, the opened slit opening 12a is attached to the monofilament blow-off port so as to blow monofilaments into the bag-like side fabric so as to form a fibrous packing. The fibrous packing has a joint stop member in the vicinity of the slit opening 12a of the bag-like side fabric 12.
