VOLTAGE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage detector in which the entire circuit, including a probe and a high resistance connected therewith, can be checked surely for normal operation through a simple operation. SOLUTION: A probe 1 connected with a line E to be detected and a detecting circuit part 3 through a high voltage resistor 2 is connected with a power supply 5 through a test contact 4 and the joint of the high voltage resistor 2 and the detecting circuit part 3 is grounded through a mode switching contact 6 and a voltage dividing resistor 7. At the time of operation check, the test contact 4 is closed and the mode switching contact 6 is opened thus disconnecting the voltage dividing resistor 7.
