Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a plate catalyst capable of continuously adjusting the plate catalyst having a multilayered structure arranged with an active component on its surface and moreover capable of easily adjusting the covering quantity of a coated layer, and to provide a production device therefor. SOLUTION: A coating stage 11 coating a catalyst slurry 7 obtained by adding water to a catalyst component consisting of a composition other than a catalyst paste 14 on the surface of a coated body 5 attained by applying the catalyst paste 14 on a substrate 13 is set between the coating state 10 coating the catalyst paste 14 on the substrate 13 and a cutting state 12 cutting the coated body obtained in the casting stage 10 to a prescribed size.
