Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a sewage treatment process by a two-tank type intermittent aeration method dispensing with a control ORP sensor and stably removing nitrogen and phosphorus. SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring device 10 and a water temp. measuring device 11 both of which enable continuous measurement are arranged to the waste water inflow system of a treatment apparatus and the apparatus is operated by a conventional control method. The aeration time and one cycle of first and second aeration tanks 2a, 2b during a period when treatment is well performed and the inflow flow rate and water temp. data at this time are utilized as learning examples to set not only an input layer to the inflow flow rate and water temp. but also an output layer to the aeration times and one cycle times of the first and second aeration tanks 2a, 2b to construct and learn a neutral network and, on the basis of this, the aeration times and one cycle times of two aeration tanks are set. Further, the inflow flow rate and the reference value of water temp. are preset and the difference or ratio with measured values may be set to the input layer.
