Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more clearly sample a fingerprint under any condition and to decrease stain of an object to be sampled by using a powder prepd. by performing surface treatment of a pigment powder with a water repellent substance or a water repellent and oil repellent substance as a powder for sampling the fingerprint. SOLUTION: A powder for sampling a fingerprint is prepd. by performing surface treatment of a pigment powder with a water repellent substance. Here, the pigment powder is surface-treated with a water repellent and oil repellent substance and the water repellent substance is at least one kind of substance selected from the group consisting of fluorinated compds., silicon compds., fatty acids and metal soaps. In addition, particle diameter of the powder for sampling the fingerprint is in a range of 0.01-200μm. It is possible to sample clearly a fingerprint when the fingerprint is sampled from a leather product, a craft tape, a packaging paper for tabacco and the human skin. In addition, when a fingerprint is sampled from an object wetted with water, its effect is exhibited.
