FILM-FORMING ANTIFUNGAL AGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, excellent in releasability of an antifungal agent from a coating film and permeability thereof to a horny layer and effective against trichophytosis, especially trichopytosis unguim by including a hydrophilic film-forming substance, an antifungal agent and water therein. SOLUTION: This film-forming antifungal agent composition is obtained by formulating (A) 1-30(wt./vol.)% hydrophilic film-forming substance soluble in water preferably at >=0.1(wt./vol.)% concentration at ambient temperature (e.g. an alkanolamine neutralized solution of an acrylic resin) with (B) 0.1-10(wt./ vol.)% antifungal agent (e.g. amorolfine hydrochloride), (C) water, as necessary, and (D) 15-86(wt./vol.)% lower alcohol which is preferably ethanol and/or isopropyl alcohol, 1-20(wt./vol.)% humectant (e.g. propylene glycol), 0.2-10(wt./ vol.)% keratolytic agent (e.g. salicylic acid) and 0.2-5(wt./vol.)% surfactant which is preferably a combination of an anionic surfactant with an amphoteric surfactant and, as necessary, adding (E) another medicine, a plasticizer, a neutralizing agent, an oil, a perfume, a coloring matter, etc., thereto.
