Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the supporting structure gapless between the skirt and the insulating panel so as to enhance the insulating effect by preventing the convective flow of air and simultaneously improve the work environment relating to the attaching of the insulating panel, increase the work efficiency, eliminate supplementary machinery and equipment, and shorten the time for the work. SOLUTION: In an insulating structure in the supporting structure of a low temperature freight tank an insulating structure formed along the inner circumferential surface of the skirt 2 which supports the cryogenic-freight tank 1 has an insulating panel 7 provided along the inner circumferential surface of the skirt 2 and supporting means, such as tap bolts 15, which support the insulating panel 7 relative to the skirt 2 in such a manner as to keep the outer surface of the insulating panel 7 within a specified dimensional limit of the inner circumferential surface of the skirt 2. The insulating panel 7 has a layer of rigid insulator 10 on the outer side, a layer of flexible insulator 12 on the inner side, and a reinforcement 11, with the layer of flexible insulator 12 in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the skirt 2 without leaving any gap therebetween. |
