PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder enabling reproducing and enjoying by using a television receiver without a personal computer concerning image data photographed by a still image fetching device. SOLUTION: Image data taken by digital camera 1 as a still picture fetching device is fetched by each picture to be temporarily stored in a buffer memory 10 and converted into a video signal through a video encoder 11 to be outputted to the television receiver 4 from a video output terminal 12 through a cable 13. Data to store is selected while monitoring this data and written in CD-R 16. When reproducing, a pickup part 15 reads desired image data from in CD-R 16 to convert into a video signal through the encoder 11 to be outputted to the receiver 4 through the cable 13.
