Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the information processing unit that has a plurality of IP protocol processing sections to attain IP routing that relieves the load of a host processor without a contact line between boards. SOLUTION: IP protocol procedures 141, 142 are mounted to each of a plurality of interface boards of a communication node 101 and have real interfaces 161, 181 and virtual interfaces 162, 182 having an IP address of a real interface of other board. The IP protocol procedure 141 receiving data via the real interface 161 from a transmission line 191 gives data to an interface start procedure 174 having the real interface 181 of the IP address via a common buffer 112 to realize IP routing between different IP protocol processing sections.
