Upstream of the sheet feed guide 22 a solenoid 29 is furnished, and over it a return spring 30 is installed, and when turned in On condition, the solenoid 29 sinks a plunger 29a against the force of the return spring 30 to the undermost position, and the sheet feed guide 22 is rotated clockwise round a fulcrum so that the spacing relative to the belt 21 is retained as specified.
