HORIZONTAL BEARING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install and hold a body horizontally on a slope or a ground surface with irregularities simply and accurately. SOLUTION: The horizontal bearing device has a base frame 2, on which a body is placed, a plurality of legs 5 being downwards mounted on the base frame 2 and capable of being expanded and contracted mutually independently, a grounding sensor emitting a signal when the legs 5 are grounded, a distance sensor transmitting a detecting signal when a distance between the base frame 2 and a ground surface reaches a fixed value, an inclination sensor detecting the inclination of the base frame 2 and a controller controlling the expansion and contraction of a plurality of the legs 5. When one of a plurality of the legs 5 is grounded, the controller controls the legs 5 excepting the leg 5 grounded under the state so as to be extended until each is grounded.
