Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify efficiently and economically a contaminated water area by a method wherein a porous activator radiating metallic ion, electromagnetic waves, and far infrared rays is charged into a contaminated water area, an organic substance in water is decomposed by oxidizing and reducing action of the metallic ion and the electromagnetic waves, and propagation of aerobic bacteria is accelerated with far infrared rays. SOLUTION: A specific porous natural mineral (RYUOSEKI) radiating metallic ion, electromagnetic waves, and far infrared rays is used as an activator, and water is purified by charging a purification water layer 1 composed of the activator into a contaminated water area. That is, an organic substance in water is decomposed by oxidizing and reducing action of the metallic ion and the electromagnetic waves, and propagation of aerobic bacteria is accelerated with far infrared rays. Water in the contaminated water area is purified from both of the activator itself and water purifying action with the aerobic bacteria. Further, as an auxiliary means, a bubble generator 2 is installed in the contaminated water area, and a pair of electrodes 3, 4 are dipped in water, and low current and low voltage are applied. Thereby, a means wherein those electrodes 3, 4 are respectively set at positive and negative electric potentials is used.
