SUTURAL TOOL FOR SURGERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sutural tool for surgery surely holding a curved needle inserted with a suture, capable of protruding only the length required for suturing, and easy to operate. SOLUTION: A needle holder 2 slender in diameter and having a curve section 3 is attached integrally to the tip section of a hollow holder main body 4, a rod 12 invariably excited to the base end side by a spring member 15 is fitted to the holder main body 4, and a coil member 14 is fitted to the tip section of the rod 12 via a rod 13. A curved needle 20 inserted with a thread 19 is held in the curve section 3, an operating member 18 integral with the rod 12 is thrust into the holder main body 4 against the spring member 15, and the coil member 14 is extruded into the needle holder 2. The curved needle 20 held in the curve section 3 by the coil member 14 is extruded from an opening section 3a by a required quantity to pierce the portion to be sutured, and the thread 19 inserted into the curved needle 20 is extracted for ligation suturing.
