STRUCTURE OF EXTERNAL WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible to drain rainwater without allowing the rainwater entering from joints between neighboring exterior panels to reach the wall surface of the body of a building when external walls are made by mounting multiple exterior panels on members installed on the wall surface of the body of the building. SOLUTION: The external wall is structured so as to form external walls of a building by mounting exterior panels 1 having a flange for mounting around the rear side to mounting members 21a, 21b installed on the wall surface in the body D of a building. In such case, the mounting members 21a, 21b are formed of pipes, the flanges of the neighboring exterior panels 1 are arranged on the surfaces of the mounting members and fixed, a clearance between these neighboring exterior panels 1 is made a joint, multiple holes which make an internal space and the clearance between the joint communicate with each other are formed on the surfaces of the mounting members, and water entering into the interior of the mounting members from the holes through the joint flows in the members in the direction of gravity and is drained.
