SOLUTION: In this joining structure of a wood structural material for building, a seat face 3 on which a seat part 1b is confronted with the seat hole face 11 of a seat hole part 2b, and a dovetail tenon face 5 on which a dovetail tenon part la is confronted with the dovetail mortise face 7a, 7b of a dovetail mortise part 2a, actually form a common line or a common face on the confronted part. A seat hole face 11a, 11b on which the seat hole part 2b is confronted with the seat face 3 of the seat part 1b, and a dovetail mortise face 7a, 7b on which the dovetail mortice part 2a is confronted with the dovetail tenon face 5 of the dovetail tenon part 1a, actually form a common line or a common face on the confronted part.
