Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound useful as a surfactant exhibiting a single dispersion degree under the control of the number of glycerol units in the polyol chain by reacting a specific amine with a specified ether and subsequently removing the protecting group. SOLUTION: This method for producing a polyglycerylamine of formula III comprises reacting an amine of formula I (A is H, etc.; R is a 6-32C hydrocarbon chain; R3 is H, etc.,) with an ether of formula II (R2 is H, a 6-32C hydrocarbon chain) in an ether/amine molar ratio of 1-4 in an organic solvent (an ether, etc.,) at the refluxing temperature of the solvent and subsequently releasing the protecting group from the reaction product. The amine compound can be converted into an amine oxide, quaternary ammonium compounds, betaine compounds, etc., useful as foam stabilizers, detergents or shampoos. |
